Tekes Venture Capital Ltd Invested 6 million Euros in the Superhero Venture Fund 2015 Ky

Tekes Venture Capital Ltd has made a commitment of 6 million Euros to Superhero Venture Fund Ky. The size of the fund is now about 18.6 million Euros, and its target size is 20 million Euros. Besides Tekes Venture Capital Ltd, other investors in the fund include pension institutions, other institutional investors, investment companies and foundations. The fund uses asymmetric profit distribution that favors private investors.

The fund is the first one for its management company, Superhero Capital Oy, and it invests mainly in Finnish early stage software companies. The fund's management team consists of Business Angel of the Year 2015 Moaffak Ahmed, Juha Ruohonen, Jakob Storå and Claes Tallberg. Tekes Venture Capital Ltd 's CEO Esko Raunio congratulates Superhero Capital Oy and its managers on their first fund entering the market. The goal of Tekes Venture Capital Ltd is to be an investor in venture capital funds whose managers through their expertise and experience are able to help early stage Finnish companies achieve strong international growth.

The goal is to make 2-4 investments per year. Investment in Superhero Venture Fund 2015 Ky is Tekes Venture Capital Ltd 's second investment in 2015.
